Teams from Bethel have served numerous times in Costa Rica, leading vacation Bible schools, completing construction projects in mission churches, & sharing the Gospel with hundreds of amazing people. We serve through the mission endeavors of PIBD (Primera Iglesia Bautista Desamparados, Costa Rica).
For the last three years, our pastor, Tim Davis, has served in Guatemala with the Pineywoods Camp staff & Mike Brister of Stepstones Ministry International, to build homes for orphans & widowed moms among the Mayan people groups. Our efforts are carefully guided through the wisdom of career-missionary Terri Littrell. The Bethel RiseUp Student Ministry gives sacrificially so that Lucrecia (a most beautiful Guatemalan girl) can attend public school each year.
In 2012, we will partner with Stepstones Ministry International to provide construction & Gospel-sowing ministry in Haiti. Our projected dates are October 6-13, 2012. Please pray that the Lord will use you to bring Christ to the children & families of this desperate nation.

In October, 2012, a mission team from Bethel will travel to Drouin, Haiti for the expressed purposes of providing vacation Bible school for children, & teaching the local adult & youth Christians how to "story" the Bible. As we reach into Haiti, we will enable our Brothers & Sisters to reach out to their fellow Haitians. The Bethel team will be the first team to establish this outreach ministry for people who have been praying & working toward this goal for many years.
