Tim Davis is our Senior Pastor.  Tim served as our Minister with Students & Recreation from April of 1998 until becoming our pastor in August of 2010.  A graduate of Conroe High School, East Texas Baptist University & Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Tim was called by the Lord into the Gospel ministry at 15.  He has served as youth pastor for Friendship Baptist Church in Marshall, Texas & Henderson Street Baptist Church in Cleburne, Texas.  Tim loves sharing the Word of God with all ages, & helping guide folks to the Lord Jesus.  Tim is committed to establishing God's Kingdom on earth in the hearts of men & women, & boys & girls.  He serves as a Member at Large on the Pineywoods Baptist Encampment Board of Trustees.  He has served as camp pastor for preteen camps, girls camps & senior adult camps.  Tim loves serving in mission work around the world (Arlington, Houston, South Padre Island (Texas), Wisconsin, Colorado, Moldova, Costa Rica & Guatemala).  Tim has taught in local school Bible clubs for more than a decade.  Currently, he shares in five different public schools every week.  Tim is deeply committed to sharing the Scriptures in a dignified, understandable, applicable way.  While very conservative in his theology, he is flexible in his methodology.  Tim enjoys spending time with the Lord, studying the Bible, praying, running, eating Blue Bell ice cream (which makes running more difficult), coaching softball & basketball, cheering for the Texans (though they often make it tough) & the Rockets, hanging out with friends, having fun with his three daughters, & spending lots of time with his wife of 18+ years, Julie.

Pastor Rodolfo Merida faithfully serves as the pastor of La Iglesia Bautista La Hermosa (Bethel's Spanish Mission).  Rodolfo is a fantastic Bible teacher and Spirit-filled pastoral administrator.  Pastor Rodolfo is also a gifted musician, & a highly-valued associate with the Walmart Corporation. What he enjoys most is time with his lovely, and gifted, wife Indalia.

Bro. Jim Palmer has retired from our pastorate after serving as our Senior Pastor for 27 1/2 years.  After more than 20 years with Southwestern Bell Telephone, the Lord called Bro. Jim into the Gospel ministry.  A graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Bro. Jim loves preaching & teaching God's Word.  He enjoys sharing the truth of salvation through Jesus Christ only with everyone he can.  Bro. Jim also loves spending time with his grandchildren, & cruising on his trike with Sis. Pat, his bride of 53 years.  The Palmers continue to serve Bethel & the Lord in retirement.
